Your gas bill has a new look
We have changed the look of our bill to provide our customers with a clearer picture of gas bill charges. Your Cascade bill now shows detailed rate information to provide customers with information about the components that make-up the
overall natural gas rate:
- Delivery Cost Per Therm: This is the portion of the rate that recovers the cost for delivering the natural gas on
Cascade’s distribution system. Cascade’s distribution system consists of the pipes, which run from the interstate supply
pipeline to your meter.
- Average Cost of Gas: This is the cost of the natural gas commodity and interstate pipeline transportation for delivery
to Cascade’s distribution system. When you are informed that a PGA (Purchased Gas Adjustment) has been approved by
either the WUTC or OPUC this will impact the rates on the Average Cost of Gas portion of your bill.
