Regulatory Filings

This section contains Cascade's regulatory applications currently before the WUTC and OPUC. Prior to any changes in the Company's rates and tariffs, the Company must obtain regulatory approval.

Washington

Approved Filings:

1. On October 24, 2007, the Washington Utilities & Transportation Commission approved Cascade's Purchased Gas Adjustment (PGA) filing. As a result, natural gas used on and after November 1, 2007 is being billed to you a decreased rates.

The overall impact of the changes results in a decrease of 17.6% for residential customers on Rate Schedule No. 503; a decrease of 18.7% for commercial customers served on Rate Schedules 502, 504, 512, or 541; a decrease of 21.2 % for large volume customers served on rate schedules 505 or 511; and a decrease of 24.7% for large volume interruptible industrial customers served on Rate Schedules 570 or 577. 2. WUTC has approved Cascade's Conservation Incentive Programs for Residential, Commercial and Small Industrial Customers, as well as the Low Income Weatherization Incentive Program. These Conservation Programs are available effective October 1, 2007. To view the approved filings, click here.



Oregon

Approved Filings:

1. On October 30, 2007, the Oregon Public Utility Commission approved Cascade’s Advice No. O07-08-02, which reflects changes in the cost of purchased gas and technical adjustments, and makes adjustments to base rates for various programs.  As a result, natural gas used on and after November 1, 2007 is being billed to you at changed rates.

The overall impact of the proposed changes results in an increase of 0.79% for residential customers served on Rate Schedule No. 101, an increase of 0.45% for commercial customers served on Rate Schedule No. 104, a decrease of 1.75% for industrial customers served on Rate Schedule 105, and a decrease of 1.74% for large volume firm customers served on Rate Schedule No. 111.  To view the filing click here.
