Cost comparisons are based on actual natural gas usage for each appliance and equivalent
energy outputs between natural gas and other fuels. Natural gas rates are residential rates in
the area effective since November 2008. Electric rates are based on rates in effect September 2009.
Oil and propane prices are obtained from local oil and propane dealers in the area. Savings vary
based on individual usage patterns. |
