Cascade Natural Gas Corporation (CNGC or the Company) filed its 2024-2025 Biennial Conservation Plan (BCP) on November 15, 2023, in compliance with the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 80.28.380. Within the BCP the Company establishes its two-year acquisition target identifying available and cost-effective therm savings opportunities. On January 17, 2024, the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission accepted and acknowledged the Company’s Acquisition Target and Two-Year Conservation Goal of 1,782,212 therms.

Annual Conservation Report

On June 15, 2023, Cascade filed its Annual Conservation Report in Docket UG-210838, as required by the Joint Settlement Agreement in Docket UG-152286. The Annual Conservation Report summarizes the Company’s efforts for the 2022 program year with an annual energy savings amount of 620,687 therms across it’s residential, commercial, and low-income weatherization programs.

The Annual Conservation Report consists of a main report document and six supporting work papers. The work papers cover portfolio level cost effectiveness, a summary of therm achievements per measure organized by program, the Company’s outreach efforts in 2022, and a report summarizing the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance’s efforts on behalf of the Company.
